Sunday Worship - 10:00 AM / Church office - 303-776-5655

The mission for each person at FaithPoint Church, whether child, student, or adult, is the same – “Being followers of Christ who make followers of Christ for the glory of his name.” (Matthew 28:18-20).

FAITHPOINT ADULTS

ADULT BIBLE STUDIES (ABS) AND EQUIP NIGHTS

For adults, we offer classes on various topics each Sunday morning in ABS from 9:00-9:45am and on Equip Nights (generally the 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings of the month) from 5:30-7:00pm.

In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus gave his followers the mission to make disciples; in order to make disciples, Jesus said we must teach people to observe all that he commanded. Thus, one aspect of discipleship is life-long growth in the knowledge of our Lord (2 Peter 3:18). But the goal of FaithPoint Church’s Adult Bible Fellowships (ABF) and Equip Nights isn’t just head knowledge; but knowledge that results in love for God and sacrificial love for others (Philippians 1:9-11). Jesus summed up the whole Christian life like this: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39). With Jesus’ instruction in mind, we break our classes into three simple divisions: Head, Heart, and Hands. Here’s what we mean:

Head: Learn the story of the whole Bible and how it shapes your beliefs.  Head classes introduce Bible doctrine, Bible overview, church history, and church essentials.

Heart: Focus on growing your love for the Lord and for your neighbors. Heart classes cover the spiritual disciplines, family and relationships, and finances.

Hands: Learn how to use your strengths and gifts to serve God and love others. Hands classes cover evangelism, counseling, teaching, and apologetics.

Classes utilize a variety of formats including lecture, video, and book studies. Participants may be asked to cover the cost of books.

Please contact the church office or talk to one of the elders to find out about the current offering of classes for adults.
